I am currently an undergraduate student at the University of Warsaw. My main area of expertise is high performance work with GPUs, including accelerating machine learning and realtime graphics rendering.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Recently, I have interned twice at NVIDIA, working on <a href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/NVIDIA\/TransformerEngine\">NVIDIA Transformer Engine<\/a> &#8211; the library for accelerating LLM training using newest architectural features. I also <a href=\"http:\/\/cppcon.digital-medium.co.uk\/session\/2022\/your-performance-todo-list\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">gave a talk on performance at The International C++ Conference<\/a>. <a href=\"http:\/\/nikos.vasilak.is\/p\/pash:osdi:2022.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">A distributed systems paper I co-authored<\/a> has been published at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.usenix.org\/conference\/osdi22\/presentation\/kallas\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">OSDI<\/a>. You can find some of my projects on <a data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/github.com\/janekb04\/\" href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/janekb04\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Github<\/a>. I also host an educational <a data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/channel\/UC0mx7h3jJtmfwNB4oL2qr6A\" href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/channel\/UC0mx7h3jJtmfwNB4oL2qr6A\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">YouTube channel<\/a>, where I share my knowledge with the world. There are also some informative posts on this website.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Previously, in high school, I took part in <a href=\"https:\/\/cyberduckproject.github.io\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Cyberduck<\/a> &#8211; a robotics project whose goal was to create a portable aqueous meteorological station in the shape of a mallard. Additionally, I also participated in <a href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/binpash\/pash\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">PaSh<\/a> &#8211; a shell-script parallelisation project hosted by the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.linuxfoundation.org\/press-release\/linux-foundation-to-host-the-pash-project-accelerating-shell-scripting-with-automated-parallelization-for-industrial-use-cases\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Linux Foundation<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In free time, I like doing renders in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.blender.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Blender<\/a> &#8211; an open-source 3D graphics suite.
